Zero headroom, on purpose, and that's what you're used to. The expected "mastered" level is 0dBFS peak, with a perceived average of -10 or so. And the perceived average is maybe 10-20dB below that, depending on the content. That leaves a fair amount of headroom in case something unexpected comes, and you need to handle that without distorting also. mastered levels.Ī "good" live level is typically around -18dBFS peak.
